Subscribing to updates

Being able to be alerted to new planning applications within an area specifed by you is one of the many nifty features of Pinpoint.

To use this feature find the area to which you would like to be notified of any new planning applications registered with the local authority. Then click your preferred distance range from the menu bar and click on your location on the map of where you wish you subscribe to.

You should now see a circle on the page, this shows the radius that you will receive updates for. If a new planning applications falls within that area you will be notified. To change the size of the area just click a different distance on the Subscribe for updates menu and the circle will change size to reflect the new distance you have specified.

Once you are happy with the location of the circle simply enter your email into the box that will of popped up in the middle of the circle and press the Subscribe button.

We need people to confirm their emails to prevent spam signups. All you need to do is log on to your email, open up the Pinpoint Activation email and click the link in that email.

Once this is done you will recieve updates for the area you selected. There is no limit to how many areas you can sign up for!
