Understanding the key

The key is designed to make the status of an application easily understandable. The key comprises 5 status markers which indicate the stage/status of an application and a group marker () which logically groups applications in to understandable areas.

The applications status markers comprise of the following; Current(), Approved(), Refused (), Withdrawn() and Other (). More information on each of these markers can be seen below.

The "Current" Marker -
The Current marker indicates an applications that is currently being reviewed, no decision has been made on this planning application.

The "Approved" Marker -
The Aprroved marker indicates an application has had planning permission granted. These applications are considered completed by the local authority.

The "Refused" Marker -
The Refused marker indicates a planning permission application that has been refused by the local authority. Clicking on this marker will explain why the application was refused.

The "Withdrawn" Marker -
The Withdrawn marker indicates a planning application that has been withdrawn by the individual or organisation that intially applied for the planning permission. These applications are considered closed.

The "Other" Marker -
The Other marker indicates a planning application that does not have a known or informative status, these are uncommon and are usually updated to one of the above markers very quickly.

The "Group" Marker -
The Group marker indicates an area containing a number of applications within a certain area. These applications/areas have been grouped together to make it easier to find a specific area which have had planning applications made. Clicking on one of these markers will zoom you in to the respective area this will then present you will the applications for that area or further group markers depending how far you are zoomed in.
